Im drowning in work but spent all day Monday with Alannah.We talked about friendships and how people should treat each other,picked flowers and veggies and talked and talked.I let her come up with a plan that worked for her to end the bullying problems.She,not me,decided to block the telephone numbers on her Iphone that belonged to the offenders and I would answer the house phone and simply say that she was no longer available..I am not going to engage a child nor have the time to deal with parents that are ultimately responsible for failing to teach their child the difference between right and wrong.Im not going to take her phone away..shes not the one abusing it....the standing rule in our house is that there are no calls after 8pm and this has never been an issue.Today she and Jamie are headed back to Boston for another scan..2nd one in 9 days..shes going to glow in the dark with all this radiation.Were looking for a base line on her kidneys..last scan showed that her rt.kidney was smaller and a shrinking kidney is BAD... Tomorrow we meet with her new school and teachers...yay.In the mean time the garden is exploding and when were not working were canning and freezing...28qts of soup,14qts of salsa,a weeks worth of meatballs,sausage and sauce,14 qts of beans...Alannah has been my assistant.Our goal this year is to produce 60 complete meals from the garden. Today I get the entire day to work with no interruptions.
