Im eager to see what films and actors will receive top acclaim at the Academy Awards this year.Over the past two weeks weve seen five excellent shows: INTO THE WOODS (everyone was great!), WILD (thought Laura Dern was great, Reese Witherspoon OK), BIRDMAN ( I feel Edward Norton stole this show), THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING (EDDIE REDMAYNE ...WOW!) and THE IMITATION GAME, with the fabulous Benedict Cumberbatch. If I were judging, my must difficult decision for best actor in a drama, thus far, would be deciding between Cumberbatch and Redmayne....though I guess, in the end, Id have to hand it to Redmayne. Still have a few more to see , of course.
