Im feeling extremely grateful and blessed right now. This afternoon I was sworn in for my fifth term in the Wisconsin State Assembly. It is an honor and privilege to serve the nearly 57 thousand folks of the 43rd Assembly District. The good people I serve are smart, hard working, and extremely thoughtful on so many issues, I am so proud to be their voice at the State Capitol. Im also very lucky to have a family that is so understanding and supportive of me and my efforts to serve the people who elected me.They have always been by my side every step of the way. As we begin the new session ahead I want thank my outstanding staff. It is so reassuring for me to know that when you call or visit my office in Madison, I know that you will be greeted and and taken care of in the best way possible. My staff knows that you are my priority and will always work hard for you with class and a warm smile. The Capitol filled with extremely talented and experienced staff. I just happen to have the best in the building and I am so thankful for them. Finally I want to thank all of my supporters wherever you are. You are the reason Im here. Your support, your generosity with your time, contributions, and hard work during each of my campaigns is second to none. To each of you I owe a huge debt of gratitude. You are my supporters, but youre more than that, much more than that, youre my friends. Thank you. Tomorrow Ill be holding my in district swearing in. The details are in the attached press release.
