Im feeling the damp on this bank holiday weekend so Id like to share with you a simple way I learned to get heat into my body : To get your internal radiator AKA Liver going stimulated! Stand tall with your feet shoulder length apart and head straight up, ( maybe rotate head to sides and back and front first then center and stretch neck up as high as comfortable for you), shoulders relaxed. Now you look like a rocket about to take off! Start swinging your arms loosely around your body letting them flop into the back of you up over arse AKA Glutes & above the Iliac crest or hip bone and then swing to the front to hit your hip nearly. Hands are open out so if you stopped you would have one arm hugging your belly and the other is hitting your back with the back of your hand. So swinging one arm in front of your body and the other behind simultaneously while keeping the rest of your body straight : Left in front, Right behind Right in front, Left behind Keeping relaxed your natural pendulum motion will increase the rate at which your arm swing to your natural rhythm (Should not be rocket speed!) Nice and slow, let gravity and physics take over. You are stimulating the flow of blood in your body especially the liver as this is what you are hitting (or vibrating), this will increase your circulation of blood and warm your body.
