Im getting super tired of the controversies involving bicycles. In the past two weeks Ive almost been hit three times by cyclists on sidewalks, where they arent supposed to be. Get off the sidewalks with that thing, would ya? Then there are cyclists who dont think they should have to stop at stop signs if nothing is coming. Go try that in a car someday. Bikes are supposed to follow the same rules as cars. Then there are drivers of gas powered vehicles. Some drivers claim that all drivers watch out for bikes, but that is not true. Some drivers have never read the rules of the road in their entirety. They want to claim bikes belong on the sidewalk. Go figure. Bikes belong on the road, and have just as much right on any road (except freeways) as any motor vehicle. Come on people, lets learn to drive and ride legally and safely. Ive ridden on every main corridor in Denver and am still alive to tell about it.
