Right, despite hitting 58.5kg (the lowest weight I have been in the last 7 years) for coxing Eights Head, it was unfortunately cancelled after crews who started ahead of us sank near the finish line. However, I have had an incredible time being involved with Oxford University Lightweight Rowing Club, and owe a number of people thanks and gratitude in getting to where I was earlier today. Special mention goes to Sammi who convinced me to trial in the first place! Thanks to my parents and sister Niamh for helping me maintain perspective, and for paying for training camp! Thanks to my housemates for putting up with my weird diet food in the fridge ( Joe Alyce Rosa Abigail ), especially Alexander and Sarah for teaching me what carbs were! Thanks to Joseph GallacherNia Emma and everyone who wished me luck for today! I wont forget the last 6 months, especially Taylor swift, OUL minibus vs OUBC Hackett van, Nottingham, winning trial eights, the banjolow ( James Crispin ), the New Years Day light paddle, dorney lake, the promptness of boathouse sport delivery, Amsterdam, road trip, tony, sick beats, teddy hall 4-, and the whole prep for HoRR. Sad not to be able to show everyone what we could do, be it has been awesome nonetheless. Henry and John , if the best truly is yet to come, it has a tough act to follow. Looking forward to some dark blue domination in rowing tomorrow...Nephthys, it has been a pleasure; Blue Boat, over to you #FTT #darkblue #nomorediet
