Im going to be very transparent right now. As someone who loves Christ, and tries my best to do the right thing, there are things even now I am tempted to do that would cause additional rifts in my relationship with the Lord. Truth be told, my Christian walk has not made life easier. It has actually been the cause of my struggle because sometimes I want to go and smoke weed, sleep with that girl, or cuss people out. However, I am maturing to a place where I understand that my struggles will always be present. But thats not an excuse to give up. Thats not a reason to allow my carnal desires to defeat me, and it shouldnt be for you. Our witness, purposes and examples are far too precious and fragile for us not to rely on the guidance, wisdom and strength of our God to get us through. God is so much bigger and greater than you can conceive. If he created the universe with his spoken word, he can certainly see us through our small struggles, issues and problems. Gene Keys is not perfect and has never claimed to be. I have not arrived. I am human just like you are, prone to mistakes, let downs and disappointments. Not sure why I am going this route, but whatever your struggle is, even when it is more what you can bear, God is able beyond your capacity to keep you.
