Im going to just say this: every US citizen who is afraid of the idea of a national single-payer healthcare system is an imbecile. We belong to a remarkable HMO called Kaiser Permanente that is both provider and insurer, and the resulting drop in cost and increase in quality of care is mind-blowing. They have this crazy idea you can control costs by keeping people from getting sick instead of denying them service. The only reason one wouldnt want this kind of system is that one believes a whole lot of stuff that just isnt true, and refuses to learn anything else. And that makes you stupid. But instead of working toward this, theyre STILL trying to break the ACA. Get out of the way, morons, and let the US become part of the civilized world, instead of a bunch of savages who think remaining savage is a vital part of our national character. Single Payer Now.
