Im going to say something on here thats going to make some people mad and maybe unfriend me. But Im going to say it anyways. The number of shootings that is happening not only in Indy but all over America is horrible. But lets look at the lives of the ones doing the killings. Most are kids who had very young parents. They were born into bad situations and have never been given a real chance in life. They werent taught right from wrong. Their parents didnt know how to be parents and that is a continuous cycle. They see violence daily in most aspects of their lives and never learn any other way to deal with confrontation. People say guns kill. Thats not true. Lack of child rearing and not taking an active interest in a childs life is whats killing our country. People thinking that they are owed something for nothing and having kids for the extra money has been something all of us have either heard or seen in our lifetime. A recent video of a mom with her many kids in the room asking the camera whos going to take care of her kids is the mentality Im taking about. We need to change this way of thinking. We need to find a way to stop the cycle of babies having babies and educate these young people that there is another way of life besides violence. I dont have answers on how to fix these issues but they need to be addressed. Okay vent over. Thanks for listening.
