Im going to start with this Text BEAT to 70099 cancerresearchuk.org/support-us/donate/donate-money They seems to be a lot of hate and negativity towards the whole no make up selfie photo thing for cancer awareness Heres my take on it … its message has gotten lost for a lot of people due to a verity of reasons such as.. people been pissy about loads of pictures popping up in there news feeds or misinterpreting the idea of it and other things like the piss takes Nope its not designed to cure cancer its designed to raise awareness … and yes i know everyone is aware that cancer exists but the way i say it the whole thing is using social media in a great way …because by proxy it could help get some donations people notice there mates with no make up in a picture so they investigate see all the links,hash tags etc and then in turn like it etc and it remains very present in the Facebook algorithm which in turn will get donations , possibly even make people aware of upcoming events e.g. like race for life etc and then in turn drum up more support and donations PLUS the people doing it are having a wee bit of fun been very self-deprecating towards themselves with out make up I for one support the idea and say fair play and well done to those who have done it so get donating peeps
