Im going to try this again: for missing & murdered women & children, particularly in this context where racism meets up with imperialism/conquest; misogyny & classism. I see the failure to investigate & redress the ugly colonial legacy of the past, as part & parcel, of this worlds collective denial when it comes to occupied peoples across the globe. This is a campaign in Canada, & spreading fast across the globe. Started out a long while back but the political regimes failed to listen ( uhm, why am I not surprised?????....actually most of us have failed to listen). Following the highly-publicized murder of Loretta Saunders, her cousin Holly Jarrett, family, friends & supporters took on a campaign to raise awareness of this serious issue. Please join, in solidarity. Best of luck on your efforts for the anticipated documentary, as well, to complete the work that Loretta Saunders began - ironically her thesis was on missing & Aboriginal women & children. Her spirit lives on here...
