Im going to try to make this short, but nearly everyone knows how I am with that. Haha. There are a lot of posts this evening about stress and depression due to Robin Williams committing suicide and not knowing what people are going through just because they can put on a smile from day-to-day. Even though Im a huge smartass with a very strong personality and Im always joking around, the only way I can be like this is due to the hell I went through a few years ago and nearly dying several times. God gave me the strength and allowed me to survive, even though it was utterly brutal, both mentally and physically.... And something that maybe a handful (at most) of people outside of my family know is that I did indeed contemplate suicide myself after the surgeries in the early stages of recovery. Why? Because one of the worst ways to be taken out is suffocation.... Not from the outside, but from within when your lungs are filling up with fluid and theres basically nothing the doctors can do for you. Thankfully, their last ditch effort was giving me Digoxin for the Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) and it worked. That being said, something Ive realized since then is how simple life can really be and how much I can help others out, which is something I strive to do every day. There are a lot of people out there who confide in me just to listen and/or talk. I might not agree with some things people say or do, but that doesnt mean that I hate you or that I dont care. Nothing could be further from the truth, especially considering Im no where near perfect. So if any of you ever need someone to listen or to talk to, my numbers on here for that very reason. If you call and I dont answer, simply leave a message or text before you do anything dumb that will badly affect your family or other loved ones. :-)
