Im going to write a long rant no one will read. I was never on - TopicsExpress

Im going to write a long rant no one will read. I was never on broadway and never had a worldwide hit song that everyone knows by heart. My closest experience to that was being on a pretty popular morning show for a while and having an audience of about 140,000. Thats not impressive and if anyone thinks it is, keep in mind (if I remember the numbers right) at any one minute there was about 3,000 people listening. The 144,000 is the total who listened at some point over the 4 hours of the show. People bashing this woman for hitting a bad note at the end really piss me off. Shes singing in the freezing cold late at night out on the street. She sings every day. You cant imagine the toll that takes on a voice. Especially when almost every note is a high one. And unlike most people in the music business, she can actually sing. She actually is talented. I dont want to burst anyones bubble, but at least half of the people you like as artist probably cant sing worth a damn. Nashville can make anyone with a nice ass sound good nowadays. And they do. Because they know if they can distract you with someones ass the singing doesnt matter than much anyway. Back to my very limited and forgetable life in the public eye, I cant tell you how many times we would be funny all week. Help people and non profit organizations all week. Work 12 hour days every day trying to figure out to be funny, help people, and give away stuff the next day. Do all of that day in and day out, only to say one tiny thing at 7:20 one morning that struck people wrong and get hate email and phone calls for a week about it. No one is perfect 100% of the time. No one. You arent. And Im certainly not. And neither is this woman. When people lip sync they are horrible and wrong for doing it. But if they sing live they suck for missing a note. Seems legit. All of the bashers need to get off of their ass, take a chance and give up their entire lives to pursue a dream in one of the most cut throat and unforgiving businesses ever. Sacrifice their entire lives, leaving family and friends behind to chase that dream in heartless cities full of strangers like NY and CA. Only to finally make it big and prove that you really did have the talent to make it. You were blessed by God with an amazing voice capable of touching millions and millions of people around the world with one magical song... Only to miss one note out of a billion, and be mocked. People need to get a grip.
