Im gonna be doing a December 5 show at Stargazers Theatre and Event Center with special guests Barrel House String Band and would love my friends input on which charity should receive donations from the night. As a lot of you know, I very much enjoy charity work and using my talent to give back to something in my community. I tend to steer that work towards helping homeless or children in need. Ive tried to spread it around over the years but this time around Im having trouble picking a cause so if you have an opinion, I will gladly take it under advisement. I have narrowed the field down to 3 very worthy charities: 1- Marion House Life Support (Benefiting homeless children and mothers. Beneficiaries of 2012s digital release A Cold Christmas Moon) 2- Westside CARES (Feeding and helping those in need on the westside) 3- TESSA (Helping women and children out of domestic violence. I am leaning towards this one.) All of these will be doing special events and fundraisers for the holiday season and all are very worthy. Below in the comments are links to each of these charities.
