Im happy to say that the calendar project is supporting a group that I feel has done some great things in our area....the North Santiam Watershed Council is holding a drawing to win one of three calendars, and all it takes is a $20 tax-deductible donation to enter. Ive been to several of their events, and what they do is help landowners with streams and waterways, to restore their properties back to a natural state. They bring in logs, gravel and other stuff so that the fish and other creatures will return to breeding and living in these areas. I particularly like that they work with landowners to do this, and they do not use regulatory practices, so its all voluntary, and beneficial at the same time. Please consider this group as you plan your end of year giving :) And hey, you might win a calendar, too!!
