Im in Khiva, Uzbekistan after the biggest day of the trip yesterday: 180km. Back up at 6am to dou the final 60km to here and have a short day + a bit of sight seeing. Fairly wrecked I have to say. Couldnt find a hotel or a camp spot last night but was taken in by a really nice family. I slept on a bed outside the house with the dog! Desert again from tomorrow. Dreading it! At least the road is slightly better than in Kazakhstan, although at times its pretty awful!
