Im in Woodstock, Virginia. Im making such good time that Ill be in Abingdon today. Yesterday I did an odd thing. I spent the entire morning I was driving plotting what I would do if I were writing the next season of Downton Abbey. The mind of a writer!!! After lunch I got my mind back on my own book. Im having big problems with the P&P plot. She thinks he is a snob but he isnt. How do I stretch that to a 100,000 words? One of my problems is that I like my main characters to spend lots of time together. If they do, she is going to find out quite soon that hes a nice guy. So now Im trying to figure out how to solve this problem. I know how to make them angry at first but I cant sustain it for long. This is a serious puzzle! Do you get frustrated in books, TV, etc when a character is innocently in a compromising situation and is ALWAYS caught? Jude
