Im just back from grocery shopping . No one is going to convince me that inflation is under control after today . I dont care what statistics say .... 1/2 price English cucumber $1,25 ! Are you shitting me ? Whole chicken $3.60 a pound .. WTH ! Is there a sudden chicken shortage or something ? ..Most fruit is at least $ 2.00 a pound . Im tellen ya folks , it adds up to more than this poor boy makes . But on the bright side I gave a very pretty young woman my mailing address and my daughters phone number ( sorry honey ) and she gave me a coupon for a free quart of vanilla ice cream . But that is not what I wanted to talk to you folks about . You see , My Honey and I want to take a trip to the valley a couple weekends from now to spend a couple nights away from home ..we plan to go to the Drive In movies ..do some shopping and spend a couple nights . BUT ! the question is where to stay? We want air conditioning in the room and a swimming pool on the premises . Anyone have any suggestions ? We would like to be a convenient driving time to the Drive In ..SUGGESTIONS ?
