Im just finishing up the 2014 bookkeeping for EquipNepal, and donor receipts will be postmarked by the IRSs deadline of Saturday, January 31. Its been a remarkable year, not unlike each one of the 14 years weve been in existence in one form or another! I always enjoy doing the bookkeeping, as it gives me the opportunity to think of and pray for each person who has donated to EquipNepal during the year, marvel at the amazing way that the Lord uses His people, as well as all the ways He meets the needs of the people we work with in Nepal and the many others that they influence, too. Even though this time of year dwells around many numbers and statistics and grand totals, these figures are like a mirror, reflecting what the Lord has done and is doing in the lives of so many. We serve such an amazing God! I feel blessed that I get to work with such wonderful Nepali Christians who are truly beautiful feet! I am thankful for our board who kind-of let me loose but are always there for guidance, especially my official bookkeeper and one of my best friends, Kelly, who listens to me, brainstorms with me, and prays with me. I am thankful for our local church family at Billings Vineyard Church, for their support and stalwart presence. I am also thankful for our former church home, Family Life Church in Gillette, WY, for their continued faithfulness and support for all these years. I am thankful for our roots in Mission LINK Intl and YWAM-LA. And of course, I am thankful for each person who prays, encourages, and gives financially. I continually wonder at such an amazing bunch, who are JUST HERE, through thick and thin, following the leading of the Lord in their time and giving, in spite of the distracted, sometimes over-whelmed person who runs our organization (ahem)! As I always say, God is doing it! :) I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always offering prayer with joy in my every prayer for you all.... - Philippians 1:3-4
