Im just going to put this out there. Theres so many people complaining about the ice bucket challenge. Saying its stupid, or where is the support for cancer, cf, diabetes, autism, etc. Some people seem to be just plain jealous that the ALS is getting attention. As a mother of a type 1 diabetic and another child with Aspergers, yes I want awareness for those things but Im also happy to see ALS getting this attention. It puts them one step closer to finding a cure. We need to work together to find something that works to bring awareness for all these other terrible diseases. The first thing to do is talk about them. The ice bucket challenge has done just that for ALS and Im sure it has gotten people talking about other diseases. We need to stop arguing about who is getting what attention and just spread awareness on it all.
