Birthdays on facebook are actually quite impersonal. A quick happy birthday on the appointed day, relief that we remembered (or more likely that fb reminded us) and then we move on to the next thing. In my life, there are a few people that deserve a bit more recognition and celebration than that. As a matter of fact, I am officially opening my celebratory wishes, four days early, for one of the kindest, most loving and considerate women I have ever met...Marisa Head. Those of you who know her, know exactly what I am talking about. Whos your go to girl , when you need a ride, a favor or perhaps a bit of skin pampering? She has our backs. Fiercely loyal, genuinely concerned and beautiful to boot. So Im starting my celebration a few days early Marisa. You help me deal with the intricacies and burdens in my life daily. Your warmth and compassion are contagious. Your thoughtful gestures and concern for others are very admirable. So happy almost birthday. You are definitely a front page story in many peoples lives.
