Im just gonna be real for a sec. As much as I love my baby, sometimes autism is very hard. It is difficult to explain to my grandparents why Jett wont answer their questions or always laugh at their jokes and why he acts grumpy or looks mad sometimes. He refused to hug my grandma and pushed her a little, and she is so fragile she fell back into her chair. Thank God the chair was there. Its hard. Sometimes we feel a little alienated because it can be challenging in groups or to even try to get a babysitter without worrying the whole time. It is SO worth it, but sometimes theres improvement and other times there is regression. I just want him to always be liked and loved by everyone, but I know not everyone will always understand. He already asks why certain kids dont like him. I hope one day Jett has lots of friends.
