Im just writing the beginning of the sequel to my novel and I wondered how many of you can identify with this: I held my breath as we turned the corner. The whole of my home town opened up as the most perfect seaside postcard. The first thing I saw was the abbey, the mistress of Whitby, lording it from above and looking down upon the bustling harbour and the red roofs of the cottages. ♡ Ah, Whitby, you beautiful thing. ♡ Does anyone else get so excited by that first glimpse? :)
