Im kicking myself now , a lesson has been learned . In the small city where I have grown up and live there was a small family owned chain of Italian restaurants called Capris. Growing up , I remember eating there , my dad had a story where my behavior was so bad there, that he didnt take me out to eat anywhere for a very long time . Memories , they can be strange and beautiful at the same time . I loved the capris sign growing up , I loved how the neon candles flame flickered in different directions . The sign its self was nothing spectacular , compared to other vintage signs . But through my childhood vision it was magical , maybe in some weird way it sparked my interest in old signs , and how things change or vanish . Most of the original Capris have closed and taken on other identities such as a Mexican place . There was one remaining untouched sign , the restaurant closed years ago . Driving by frequently , I would tell myself to take a picture , however I made excuses and never did . Driving by it today , the signs gone . Tried googling a bit , this is all I could find .
