Im kind of pissed that this woman in my public speaking class put in her policy speech that no narcotics or mind altering substances should be used in medical practice JUST because SHE has a history with drug abuse. She said she had lung surgery and took Tylenol to deal with the pain. Yeah right! What an ignorant, biased opinion. She didnt even have any viable alternatives to narcotics when dealing with excruciating pain. Therapy? THERAPY? Stupid. No medical experience, no nothing. She has NO RIGHT to make that kind of statement.
