Im loving the ice bucket challenges and raising awareness for diseases that are awful like ALS. Since I saw the 1st one, I wished I had initiated a Pompe Disease challenge 1- to raise $ to help develop a cure or better treatment (things are looking promising but funding is a huge issue) and 2- to raise awareness and get this name POMPE out there. With more awareness comes more funding and also possible earlier diagnosis for many which is Crucial! Ive also read that some of the ALS money may benefit pompe somehow but I have not done my research on that yet. Good job all of yall that have done this and donated!
