Im no lawyer, so I cant comment on the legalities of the Bundy situation, but the national government ownership of land within state boundaries that has no legitimate, discernible national government purpose (an office, military base, etc.) is a violation of the federalism framework that is central to the Constitution. The violation or ignorance of federalism is the main cause of our most severe national problems: excessive national debt, unfunded mandates, Obamacare, the Dept of Education, and every other overreach and intrusion into the affairs of citizens and local government.
