Im not a competition veteran by any means but Ive done a few shows. The first thing Newbies ask me (and only women mind you) is how do you deal w the cattiness back stage? I dont know where that rumor started but Ive made nothing but amazing, life long friends back stage. I even accidentally shoulder check a girl on stage and we were cool. Everyone is nervous, dehydrated, tired, sticky and really Stinky back there. The conversations I hear usually revolve around suits, meals, tan (the pee cup) and friends and family members that are there to support them. Dont perpetuate this stereotype ladies. Yes its a competition and yes you are there to win but you arent going out there holding hands. Give each other a glute smack (good game style) swap stories, recipes, contacts and lift each other up. Thats all Ive ever run into in the npc and I dont expect it to be different at the next level. And in the off chance you happen to pick up a stank eye attack give her a wink and keep it moving. -Clair Crawford
