Im not a security or a legal expert but after going through the 90 page security laws (Amendment ) Bill, 2014 I must say though the drafters could have acted in good faith and with interest of Kenya at heart bearing in mind the challenge and deteriorating state of security of the nation currently, the bill has some major shortcomings which needs to be addressed sooner rather than later, the dissenting voice needs to be listened to and their concerns incorporated so that we have a law that is all inclusive.
