Im not about to be all doom and gloom but 2014 could have been better but it could have been worse but either way 2014 is about to be over and its just another 365 days of memories both good and bad and Ill take what I learned in it and use it to improve in 2015 and beyond but 2014 was another year of loss unfortunately. The streak continued, 2012 marked the beginning of it on New Years day nonetheless, than 2013 added two more angels to the afterlife and than came this year and hoping and praying the streak would end but unfortunately god had other plans for two more truly great individuals who I had the pleasure to know and who both impacted my life in one way or the other for the better. I want to do two dedications here and Im going to make this first dedication to my dear friend Nick Kuehneman. You were like a brother to me at one point man, you never stopped but we both kind of began veering off down our own paths of destruction unfortunately we werent able to end this year as success stories and inspirations as real life miracles and kicking it like the old days but worse than this is the fact that only one of us is still here.. I miss you bro, I wish I was able to be there for you more and help in any way possible so that you would still be here today ready to kick in a new year. I cant say I full understand what you were going through but I have somewhat of an idea because the last time you were clean and we talked you told me about how that life wasnt the one you wanted nor was it one worth living and I felt the pain of what it had done for you but also saw happiness in your eyes, and I felt it in your voice and I was inspired and admired you for the success you were finding and the places you were going. You spoke of hanging out again and going to NA meetings and introducing me to all the awesome people you had met in VA(and the beautiful woman you spoke of ayye!) and I told you I definitely wanted to but unfortunately at the time I wasnt ready to get clean and not too long after you were back into the prison of seemingly no escape filled with broken relationships, clouded futures, darkness and questionable decisions filled with consequences. I dont want to veer off anymore into that stuff though because this is in memory of the human being you were and let me say bro I had some of the BEST experiences and times of my life with you no doubt! When we used to chill back in Downtown Bethesda back around in 08-09 I thought you were one of the coolest people around there! We had some crazy times there but than we really started chilling a lot when we both started at MC having both overcome obstacles just to reach it to there, while short lived for me at least I had some great times and it was always a pleasure and a blast to be kicking it with you every day and going around and meeting all the new people we did and hearing all the hilarious jokes you told. People have told me Im very positive, Im nothing compared to you bro in fact Id go as far to say as that because of you and the positive attitude you always displayed that it rubbed off on me and helped me to become a more positive individual who saw things from a bigger picture and enjoyed life more and I will always be grateful to you for that and not just that but the memories and the better days we had experienced. I will keep you alive always in my memory and my heart and I know you are above, around or wherever it is that people go after this world having the time of your life on the other side in that place of incomprehensible peace and joy and watching listening to all of your family and friends who pray to and think of you and whos hearts you touched.
