Im not accustomed to talking with people who believe the lies of the corporate media. A woman stopped me today to ask what my Hands Off Syria bracelet meant (that in itself should be an indication of what followed, lol). I explained the basics, and she said so you support ISIS beheading little children. Sigh. I explained that I did not support that, nor did I support them and their terrorist like in the beheadings of Syrians over the past few years. Gave her the example of the man I met in Syria, an internally-displaced from Harem, who told me of Harem residents being abducted and their heads being mailed back to the families. Didnt seem to resonate with her, nor did my explanations that bombing Syrian infrastructure is not the way to stop ISIS. Explained that the West and co in the Axis of Destruction (no, I didnt actually say that term to her, wouldve been lost) have been funding, arming, training these terrorist groups in Syria, that if we want to stop ISIS, then we cut off the funding and the takfiri highway. Still didnt resonate. Id forgotten how stupid people are. Thank you to all the people who have actually bothered to inform themselves of this sadistic game being played on Syria, as it was Libya, Iraq....and for speaking out. Maybe shell look at Corbetts latest video on ISIS; I gave her the link. Or maybe shell bleat and continue to believe the shitestream media. Sigh.
