Im not at all sure what was going on in my house this morning. Duncan got up as soon as his alarm went off and went into Kanes room to do his morning chore of waking Kane up. Except this time he cheerily sang out, Rise and shine, morning glory instead of the usual Get outta bed, NOW!! screams. They got dressed in record time and then started *gasp* CLEANING!!! And without being asked! As if that wasnt shocking enough, Kane randomly went in his room and came back with $3 from his super secret hidden money stash and gave it to Duncan. Anyone who knows Kane knows thats a HUGE deal! Kane is a money hoarder and is all Scrooge McDucky about every little cent he can get his hands on. Duncan gave him a hug and offered to take over Kanes much dreaded morning chore of watching for the bus. My kids are definitely not morning people and Im pretty sure this is the first morning ever where there was no grouching and griping from Duncan and no whining and crying from Kane. Im not sure who kidnapped my children in the middle of the night and left pleasant little clones in their place, but please, please, please, leave them here and keep the others! I sure could get used to mornings like this..
