Im not claiming all cops are ignorant of the laws they are hired to enforce, but the lack of comprehension about the statute this cop actually reads out loud to the busker (the statute expressly permits busking) is astounding. This had nothing to do with enforcing the law. It had everything to do with a cop realizing he was wrong and letting his ego dictate his actions, instead of apologizing to the innocent busker. I would like to know the outcome of this incident, now that its video is out there.
