Im not putting down anyone that did this but I agree with this survivor. Real bravery is when Emily proudly went everywhere with no makeup on because she didnt feel well enough to put it on. Bravery was her going everywhere completely bald, (no wig, no head wrap, no hat), just beautifully bald. Only 3% of all national cancer funding is put towards childhood cancer research. Children, ALL children, are our future and deserve more than 3%. My husband researches everything online and I, on the other hand, have NEVER researched either of my daughters different cancers but I believe he told me that there have been no new cancer treatments for kids in almost 30 years.
