Im not saying I have it tougher than anyone else. I live a pretty privileged life. Although my mum and sisters live thousands of miles away, I get a lot of emotional support from them. My in-laws are amazing and treat me like their own. I have a husband who loves me and two healthy, very happy children. My family have the means to support ourselves and I am able to buy a gym membership. I have a good job and a pension plan. I am healthy and happy. But, like everyone else I do have problems. I am habitually tired, I often feel overwhelmed, I have bad days at work, my kids get cranky, I fight with my spouse, I miss my family a lot, I wish I had more money. I wish there were more hours in the day, I get sad. Im not good at a lot of things. I have a gap in my abs. I love candy and would love it if I could eat it without it making my stomach protrude out. I have a lot of stretch marks. I have loose skin. I have scars. The No Excuse Mom movement means a lot to me thats why I put my time into it. We all have excuses. But you will never ever see change in your life if you continue to let your excuses define you. I want to be stronger than my excuses, thats why I strive to be a No Excuse Mom.
