Im not saying Im a genius, but the exact same thing happened to me! Throughout my school career, I scored very high on regional and national standardized testing. My grades began to drop and I was tested for ADD (which they said I didnt have), and the school tried to put me in a class with developmentally disabled students. My Mom was told that they didnt cater to creative types, that we were being trained to work in a factory. I left high school, went immediately to college and finished my first semester when my classmates were graduating. The best decision of my life was going to college, I found talents and abilities I never knew I had. I am now considering a Ph.D., and am so glad I followed my dreams! I will never stop striving
