Im not sure about this characterisation of the GMB as a whole but very impressive on the part of the QEH workers and the GMB officials working with them. Well done comrades, an example to the movement and lets mobilise to support them. Today we were in the high court because the giant multi national ISS wanted to bring an injunction against the GMB and our members to stop them striking next week for fair pay. Some of our members use food banks yet ISS have wasted thousands trying to fight us instead of trying to settle our members pay claim. They lost. They got kicked all over the court room by our barrister and the judge reinforced a workers right to strike as a fundamental human right within his judgement. Im so proud to be part of a union thats willing to fight and I know that our members will win.
