Im not sure if Ill be able to make it to PortCon next year, first time Ill have missed it in 8 years. But I got diagnosed with breast cancer last month, and have started 6 months of chemo, with a masectomy to follow in late June. My husband just told me that hes going to find a way to get me in at least for a day, even if I have to be in a wheelchair. My mom told me shed happily provide transportation. So, if at PortCon, you see a big, tall guy in a top hat with goggles, and a small bald woman wearing an Urahara bucket hat with a shirt that reads, Yes, theyre fake. My real ones tried to kill me, thats me, and Ill have made it! Every time I go into chemo, Im picturing the characters from Naruto kicking the crap out of the cancer cells. Heres hoping Ill be up for it and be able to see everyone there! :) #fightlikeagrrl
