Im not sure why people are so insistent on saying that dogs are carnivores. I have two dog family who are 100% plant based and are thriving. I can assure you that they do not try to chase down their dinner in the street, which a carnivore would do because of biology. I can say that they may do so if they were starving, but they are not, and survival is something quite different. If they are obligate carnivores, how do they thrive on plants alone? Why do they not chase animals to pounce on and kill to eat? The fact is that humans argue we are omnivores, carnivores, herbivores etc, I think they do the same with animals. But does it really matter? When we *can* thrive without taking a life, then we should live the life of least harm. Its the very least we can do. So if I can extend this to other family members, safely and healthily, then I should do so. Scroll through my Plant Based Dogs album, see the amount of comments who think that their dinners are our (human) dinners. See who comments they would like to eat it too. I am not harming anyone. When you can feed life, why feed death? They get fed wonderful foods, all from plants. I do think people should stop criticising what I dont think they truly understand.
