Im not too sure of Atomic bomb being dropped but thousands of tomahawks and cluster bombs sure had been dropped by the American troops and Corporate American elites dont even dare invest meaningfully in Afghanistan to improve the economic conditions of the Afghan people, however modest such improvements may be. Of course, I am not for the destruction of the historical site of great archaeological importance. However, Chinese company leases that for 30 yrs to extract copper & its a 30-yr excavation job? What coincidence I must say. :) Having said that, they are truly rare national treasures of Afghanistan which are also valuable world cultural heritage. China should negotiate with the Afghan govt. for an extension of the lease period and send in its own archaeological team to help in the proper execution of the excavation project.
