Im not totally read-in on the particulars but based on some coverage from Gawker posted by my friend Will Janensch over on his page, it appears that Ms. Patti LaBelle is upset about some younger singers being referred to as divas. (And if theres anyone who should know whos properly entitled to be called a diva, surely it is Ms. Patti LaBelle.) Anyway, in the midst of a long discussion today about Ms. LaBelle over on Wills page, one of Wills friends surfaced this wonderful clip from Sesame Street of the ABCs being sung as only Ms. LaBelle can. As Will wrote when this clip was posted, If youre going to read, you have to know your ABCs.
