Im only bringing this up once, because I am fed up with hearing about Ferguson and Michael Brown , #BlackLivesMatter Lets be clear here # ALL LIVES MATTER , In the case of Eric Garner in NYC Yes he was harassed and killed due to excessive force. Yes Michael Brown was unarmed and shot, but he assaulted a store clerk robbed the store, them assaulted an officer, and proceeded to charge at him. But rioting and the press making this a race issue is making it so much worse. All of us need to acknowledge the fact that the problem is not with the race of the men killed and the person that killed them, but with the law and cops using excessive deadly force. Cops are too quick to shoot first these days and are not being charged . In the case of Michael Brown I agree with the grand jurys decision not to indict. It is a tragedy but he should not have charged and officer after assaulting him. In the case of Eric Garner the charges brought against the officer was murder. ( the killing of a human being by a sane person, with intent, malice aforethought ) The grand jury could have brought a man slaughter case to trial but not murder. I do NOT feel justice was served in this mans case and I feel bad for his family. But if you want to make a difference burning down your neighborhoods is not the way. Reach out the the leaders in your community get these laws changed , do this lawfully and you will be heard . Rioting and looting are just another form of terrorism. Follow the news people of all races are killed by cops all the time , it needs to stop. No one should feel unsafe when in the presence of a police officer, they are meant to protect and serve. That is what we need to get back to . Verbally and physically attacking an officer because of what a few bad cops have done, put all of them on the defensive. We as a society need to take responsiblity for our actions and stop the madness.
