Im over-the-moon to pass along this incredible news from The Cleveland Clinic about its partnership with The Institute for Functional Medicine--the clinics new Center for Functional Medicine will provide a focus on chronic diseases and the lifestyle factors that cause them! As you already know, Ive spent much of my life preaching about diagnosing the root cause (not just treating the symptoms!) of autoimmune diseases and food sensitivities. This announcement warms my heart and gives all of us proof that modern medicine is finally starting to listen. My good friends Drs. Mark Hyman and Patrick Hanaway are devoting time out of their lives to demonstrate the value of introducing Functional Medicine to the clinics world-class medical professionals--makes me proud to be on the faculty of IFM!
