Im pissed! Im getting the kids ready for school and aiden and ella start telling about how two boys that are older than them keep calling them ugly. So is ask isabelle about it and she says she dosnt know and that its not her problem. So i explain to her that it is her problem and that if bigger kids are messing with her brother and sister i have no problem with her hitting one of them. So i proceeded to lay out the ground rules for how to stop bullying and i explained that hitting should be a last resort. Then ella told me about how they say she ugly and her hair is ugly. This bothered me because ellas always talking about how her hair is bad and its not like the other girls so i said you know what i will get you guys on the bus today. I get on the bus and tell the bus driver that a john and alex are giving my kids daughter alot of crap and when my son says somthing to them they start in on him. The bus driver says he knows nothing about it but the kids all told me that he constantly moves aiden to the front of the bus to stop this. So i look at all the kids and i say i dont know which one of your are john and alex but if you mess with aiden and ella again were gonna have problems and if you dont like it you can have your parents come to my house and ill work it out with them but your not going to say anything elese to my kids. The look on the kids faces was terror! The bus driver appoligized and said he would keep and eye on it but im still pissed. Now im not one of these stop bullying parents because i get know its going to happen. The hope is at some point your child learns to stick up for themselves. And that the opinions of other kids dont really matter in the grand sceem of things. And that the only person that effects your selfasteam is you. They need to grow to be mentaley strong. I deal with people every day that you can tell would benefit from a humbleing behind kicking. I dont know. Sorry for the rant im just pissed.
