Im posting this mostly as a response to a debate/argument I had - TopicsExpress

Im posting this mostly as a response to a debate/argument I had with two of my coworkers over the coarse of a couple of interactions we had this last week, this is for you Danielle Hodges and you Meagan Palmer and for anyone else Ive ever argued with about this topic. I am a shitty debater, I get frustrated way too easily and I get angry and mean. I admit that this is one of my least admirable personality traits and something I need to address and work on and I am sorry that I am a dick most of the time, especially when I argue with people about things. I really hope that you two and anyone else whos at all interested in this topic will take the time to read this article in full. One of the things that frustrates me the most, more so than just about anything else in this whole world, is when I know quite a bit about a topic Im discussing, something I care about and have spent hundreds of hours researching and reading about and then the people Im talking to mockingly dismiss what ever I have to say as quackery or conspiracy theory nonsense or anti-science, or what ever other ad homonym attack people use to disregard or denigrate a viewpoint which goes against the dogma of the status quo or which is quite different from their own viewpoint. I admit I am also guilty of doing this exact same thing sometimes, I think it is human nature to do so but I am not trying to justify it by mentioning that. Anyway, the main point of this is that this article and countless other articles and medical studies like the ones this article talks about and links to are the reason I think the way I think and believe the things I believe regarding vaccines and their suspected connection to autism and many other health problems. These studies are scientific studies, conducted by doctors and medical researchers and biochemists and neurologists. This isnt just hack science I picked up by watching some youtube jackasses chit chatting about their opinions, this is information from what seem to me to be quite reputable sources who are studying this matter as scientifically as anyone else ever has and these are the conclusions their studies and research has led them to. They may be right, they may be mistaken, but this is how science actually works, and we need to do a whole hell of a lot more science and research on this matter. We need scientists and researchers who have no vested interest nor conflict of interest to study the hell out of this and figure these things out for sure, or as sure as we can be about anything at least. I hope lots of you will take the time to read this information, it is a very important topic.
