Im probably going to get a lot of flack for this but I dont care! I just bought part one of the Star Wars collectors box set (which has ep. 1,2,&3 on it) and eventually Ill get my hands on part 2 (which is the original trilogy with Darth Vader) I honestly enjoy the series AS A WHOLE. As In yes, I enjoy the prequels as well. While everyone focuses on the negative (such as the clumsy Gun Gun Jar Jar) I find the whole story to be interesting, the Trade Federation going up against the republic being a front for Darth Sidiouss grand plan to wipe out the Jedi, while the Jedi try to figure it out before its too late. Then George Lucas introduces Anakin, who was born from the Midi-Chlorians (making him a immaculate conception, meaning he had no dad. Hmm, sounds an awful lot like a Jesus allegory) and this hinders the counsel of Jedi from focusing on Sidiouss plan because everyone was too focused on the child of Prophecy to notice any bad ripples in the force. Tbh, if they found Anakin later in the war, the Jedi could have figured out Sidiouss plan and more than half the Jedi would still be alive. But the defiant Qui-Gon-Jin wanted Anakin to be trained, even without the counsels consent. Notice how I didnt include Jar Jar? Well, Jar Jar was in the wrong place at the wrong time and scored a life debt to Qui-Gon and later became an ambassador for him people. An outcast turned general turned ambassador. Boom, that is all he was good for. Well, thank you for listening.
