Im reading a book called Face to Face with Jesus. Its about a former muslins journey to Heaven. This is what she had to say about what she was taught about allah All my life I had been taught that allah was distant and a strict judge. If I sinned, he would punish me. I was in constant fear of him because I knew I was a sinner and that sin separated me from a relationship with him. I had done everything I could to please him with my prayers, my fasting, my good deeds and all the rest, but I had no peace. No matter how much I did, or how hard I tried, I knew in my own heart I could not possibly be enough. I was too often unable to measure up.. Its sad that the same is preached and taught about The Lord. I think The Lord for putting people in my path that taught me about the Grace of God. Before I felt the same thing she did. Whatever I did was never good enough and I would never be good enough to be in His presence. True on my own I would have never been good enough but praise The Lord I am because of Christ! He makes me righteous and its all because of Him. When I got my thoughts off of me and onto Him what a weight that was lifted off! It was and is pure joy! I thank The Lord for Grace preachers!
