Im really proud of my students, and of all the others who came out to perform at Sundays open jam! A big thanks to the host musicians who helped back up the performers. We ask a lot of them, sometimes with no chance to rehearse. When my former student, 18 year old Dalton Rouse, offered to help out the host band on vocals and guitar, Im sure he didnt expect hed be asked to sing Rush and Foo Fighters songs, but he stepped up like the pro that he has become. We made it through - not always perfectly, but learning to handle an on stage detour is also part of being a musician.
