Im really tired of seeing more and more statuses that whine about tax money going to welfare, disability, government insurance, etc. If you get paid, you HAVE to pay taxes. And then that money belongs to the GOVERNMENT. Therefore, it is no longer YOUR money. Besides, think of all the people that money is actually, truly, and sincerely HELPING. Think of the people who are UNABLE to work. Do you expect them to not have ANY kind of money for the remainder of their lives, to suffer and be broke because theyre disabled and unable to work? We ALL know there are those ghetto leeches that abuse their power and are LAZY, but that should NEVER define the GOVERNMENT assistance group as a whole, it hurts and degrades us deeply. Most people on assistance are in a bind, trying to make it by with what theyve got, tools and all, to make their lives better so they dont have to rely on assistance any longer. And as for those who are truly disabled, try to understand that they are PEOPLE too, and that they have feelings as well. Any negative comments will be deleted, rant over.
