Im reposting John Mialls post from yesterday. His setting made it so some members oculd not view. John Miall Jr., commented on an article. I would offer my congratulations to the ACT and Joshs new leadership for recently doing some investigative reporting. Jon Ostendorf has done an excellent job with the Police Department scandal as it is unfolding. With the exception of Radar-gate every element of this story was known over a year ago and was well reported by Roger McCredie and the Asheville Tribune. The previous reporter on City government had given a pass to City Hall on every subject. The latest scandal on how the City stole private property and more recently gave naming rights to an outside private entity for private gain (UNPRECEDENTED) should be next up. Again McCredie and the Tribune have been on this for over a year and it barely gets a mention in ACT. My bottom line, Keep up the good work at ACT. I, for one might actually renew my subscription that I cancelled a year ago.... People will pay for news and the media holding public officials accountable.
